Bitter Honey Vol.I and Vol.II contains poetry that addresses personal hurts. These are hurts that can derive from family interactions as in "Let's Just Drink about It," intimate relationships as in "Bitter Brown Baby," as well as those discoveries derived from self-acknowledged deficiencies as in "I'll Share the Blame." The poems throughout these books contain sarcasm and cynicism since they are products of pains and discomforts. Readers are urged to allow the residue of the poems to settle and impact any future interactions with others.
